After making a bracelet and kind of loving it to death, I posted the results on facebook. I had some requests, so I thought I do a little post about some bracelets I have been making.
Thanks to my obsessive blog reading, I found a couple tutorials that I have been wanting to try. The first is for a leather wrap bracelet as seen on I still love you. She has a great illustration for the adjustable knot.
I bought a little package of three great colors (mustard, rust and olive) of leather at Michael's for 6.99. They had a couple different packages so you could do what ever colors you like. I ended up using this leather for both bracelets I made.
The second was seen on This and That which linked from Henry Happened. Its basically just adding a bead to a braid. Like I said, I used the leather from Michael's and wooden beads. I love the colors and how it turned out!
And last but not least, I made this necklace. I made it for my friend Ashley's birthday, so I had to delay this post until I was able to give it to her. I found this necklace on pinterest and just found similar things to make it with. So no tutorial here. It was easy though, and plan on making one for myself as well.
So there you have it! My craftiness for the month of February. Enjoy!

Ummmm...I've already picked out several outfits for that necklace to go with, one of which I wore today and pretended that I had it on and it looked awesome! So, the sooner I have it, the more beautiful you will make me look :). I'm definitely looking forward to telling everyone how amazing you are at making things because I'm sure I'll get lots of people asking where I got it! Lucky for me...it's one of a kind! :)
What a talented friend I have!
