Cabellas and Sleeping

Posted by Mark:

It's a fact of life that once you have children the predominant topic you write about is ones child. Here yet again is a post about Spencer. Never fear though. I'm finishing up a project that I'll be sure to blog about in the coming weeks.

Anyway, Last week was the Bountiful High School Homecoming. The good part about living across the street from a high school on homecoming week is that on the Thursday there is a parade that travels past our house where lots of candy gets thrown in our direction as we watch on the front lawn. The bad part about living across the street from a high school on home coming week is the Football game, where hundreds of people park up and down your street. Not wanting to be around for the madness we decided to make a trip down south and visit Ikea to buy some chairs, and visit Cabellas to look at guns! (Ken recently got a job in the gun department at Cabellas for his retirement dream job) So we thought it would be fun to check out his new gig. Anyway while at Cabellas we of course had to check out the aquarium and see if Spencer would enjoy it.

Well of course he did! He's an easy boy to please.
I like this picture cause it shows how old Spencer is looking.

Lastly, before Kimmi and I head to bed we always just go check on Spencer to make sure he's not dead. Sunday I was laying in bed when Kimmi walks in our room and tells me that I HAVE to come see Spencer. Here's what we found:
How this is comfortable I'll never know. I almost started laughing so hard I quickly ran out of the room so I wouldn't wake him up. We just HAD to take a photo.
