2010 brought a lot of changes and new experiences for our family. Our biggest and most prominent news being the birth of our son, Spencer. He was welcomed into our family with many open arms and is totally spoiled and loved by everyone. Spencer is now 13 weeks old and growing by the minute. We laugh at how chunky he is getting, but love that we can tell he is happy and healthy! He is a very content, laid back little guy who is happy to lounge on your lap, in your arms, on a blanket, in the car seat, etc. He is so smiley in the mornings and is even starting to giggle a bit. He is getting better at his conversations with mom and dad and seems fascinated when we talk back to him. Spencer is doing really well with his parents both back to work and loves hanging out with Grandma Linda. He is on a great schedule and is sleeping through the night most nights (lets hope this post doesn't jinks me!). We really love having the little guy around! He is such a blessing and brings so much enjoyment to our lives.
Next on our list of news is the selling of our house in Twin Falls, Idaho and the big purchase of our new home in Bountiful! We LOVE our new house and all the awesome improvements we have made and will be making in the near future. What have we done? The nursery, the laundry room, and the kitchen! Pictures will come around soon I am sure. And what is to come?? Everything else! The family room, office, master bedroom, bathrooms, and the entire basement. Oh, the excitement! Its a massive job, but we look forward to making this house exactly how we want it. The plans are all in my head, we just need to execute them.
Like I said, I am back to work and trying to figure out the balance of work life and home life. Wish me luck. But we are lucky to have my mom as a fantastic babysitter for Spencer! We couldn't ask for anything better. Mark is still working for the church, but in a new position. He is enjoying the change, but is busy all day! No more wasting time on the phone with me!
We are excited to see what 2011 will bring for us. These first 13 days seem ok and we can only hope more days get better!

Yay for 2010! It looks like we both had a great year :)...and I think I'm just about as excited as you guys for the improvements to your house...just about, but not quite :). I need to see Spencer again! It's been way too long!
