Our spontaneous vacation

Mark decided to surprise me with a small vacation this week. And by small, I mean one day. Never the less, it was needed, and it was great to spend some quality time with each other. Marks day off from work this week was on Tuesday and I am off until Thursday. So on Monday night we headed up to Boise. We ate the the Cheesecake Factory. Delicious!!! I love that place. Then we went swimming, hot tubing, and just relaxed at the hotel. The next morning Mark and I went to the Boise Temple. What an enjoyable temple. The workers were so cute...but they are everywhere really. After the temple we attempted a day of shopping. We were very unsuccessful, which is never fun, but at least we saved some money. We did end up finding the worst shopping center of Boise though...the Boise Factory Outlets! Absolutely no shops worth entering, don't waist your time. All in all, it was a fun trip with Mark and a great surprise from him.

So where was Beatrice all this time?? She was having her own vacation! We boarded her in a kennel here with a lady we know. Beatrice loved it! She was exhausted when we got her home. She laid down and slept the rest of the night. She was able to play with a lot of other dogs and a bunch of new people. Beatrice is a very social dog, so this was perfect for her. She also got groomed. When we picked her up she smelled great and instead of the little bows most groomers use, Beatrice got a Hawaiian lei. She looked great!!
